DYKDDDDK (FLAG tag)-LPETGS; Asp - Tyr - Lys - Asp - Asp - Asp - Asp - Lys - Leu - Pro - Glu - Thr - Gly - Ser; Related product: Anti-FLAG Monoclonal Antibody; FLAG Peptide
The FLAG epitope represents an 11-amino-acid leader peptide of the gene-10 product from bacteriophage T7 fused at the amino-terminus of GAL4 (yeast transcription factor). The FLAG tag is a widely used epitope tag that can be used for the detection and purification of recombinant proteins. The LPETG motif is a recognition sequence for the transpeptidase enzyme sortase, which can be used for site-specific protein labeling and immobilization.
