PKC-epsilon V1-2 Inhibitory Peptide, EAVSLKPT

EAVSLKPT is an eight-residue peptide derived from the V1 region of protein kinase C epsilon (PKCε). This sequence has been used as an isozyme-directed translocation inhibitor that disrupts interaction of PKCε with its anchoring receptor proteins, providing a tool for studying PKCε localization and signaling. Because peptide effects depend on intracellular delivery and assay format, activity should be interpreted in the context of the experimental system.
