This H4(1-25) peptide carries acetylation at all four canonical H4 N-terminal lysine sites, Lys5, Lys8, Lys12 and Lys16. The resulting hyperacetylated H4 tail models a highly acetylated chromatin state and provides a multivalent ligand for acetyl-lysine reader studies.
