This H4(1-21) peptide carries acetylation at all four canonical N-terminal H4 lysine sites: Lys5, Lys8, Lys12 and Lys16. Multi-acetylated H4 tails model hyperacetylated chromatin and provide high-density acetyl-lysine ligands for bromodomain and chromatin-reader studies.
