Caspase-9 Chromogenic Substrate, Ac-LEHD-pNA

Ac-LEHD-pNA is a chromogenic peptide substrate for LEHD-preferring caspases and is commonly used to monitor caspase-9 activity in intrinsic-apoptosis studies. Proteolytic cleavage releases p-nitroaniline, which can be quantified near 405-408 nm. The LEHD motif provides a defined initiator-caspase substrate for biochemical assays and inhibitor screening.
