MeOSuc-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-AFC is a fluorogenic peptide substrate widely used to measure human neutrophil elastase activity. The Ala-Ala-Pro-Val recognition sequence is efficiently cleaved by neutrophil elastase, releasing AFC and generating a fluorescence signal. Experimental Notes
