MBP/MAPK Substrate Peptide, APRTPGGRR

APRTPGGRR is a synthetic MAP kinase substrate incorporating the PRTP phosphorylation motif from myelin basic protein. The Pro-X-Thr-Pro motif is efficiently recognized by ERK-family MAP kinases, and the peptide has been used as a compact substrate for measuring ERK1/ERK2-dependent phosphorylation and for defining MAP kinase substrate-recognition requirements.
