KLK2b Kallikrein-2 Inhibitory Peptide, GAARFKVWWAAG

GAARFKVWWAAG, designated KLK2b, is a 12-residue linear peptide inhibitor of human kallikrein-related peptidase 2 (KLK2). The sequence was identified through KLK2 inhibitor-development studies and retains inhibitory activity in synthetic form. KLK2b has also served as the parent sequence for cyclic analogs designed to improve resistance to proteolysis while retaining KLK2 inhibition.
