gp91ds-tat is a cell-permeable peptide inhibitor designed to disrupt assembly of the NOX2/gp91phox NADPH oxidase complex. The construct combines an HIV Tat-derived cell-penetrating sequence with a gp91phox docking-sequence peptide. It has been widely used in vascular and neuronal studies to test the contribution of NOX2-dependent reactive oxygen species to signaling, vascular responses and oxidative stress.
