CREBtide, 5-FAM Labeled PKA Substrate

5-FAM-KRREILSRRPSYR is a fluorescent derivative of CREBtide, a synthetic phosphorylation substrate based on the cAMP-response-element-binding protein (CREB) phosphorylation region. CREBtide is efficiently recognized by cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA), with the central serine serving as the principal phosphoacceptor. The 5-FAM label enables direct fluorescence detection and supports mobility-shift, chromatographic and other separation-based kinase assay formats.
