Caspase-8 Fluorogenic Substrate, Ac-IETD-AFC

Ac-IETD-AFC is a fluorogenic tetrapeptide substrate configured for IETD-preferring caspase activity measurements and is commonly used in caspase-8 assays. Cleavage releases AFC, allowing protease activity to be followed fluorometrically. Because peptide substrate preferences overlap within the caspase family, results should be interpreted with appropriate enzyme and inhibitor controls.
