ADAMTS-4 Aggrecanase FRET Substrate WAAG-3R

Abz-TEGEARGSVI-Dap(Dnp)-KK-NH2, commonly called WAAG-3R, is an internally quenched fluorogenic peptide substrate for ADAMTS-4 (aggrecanase-1). The sequence contains an aggrecanase-responsive region and uses Abz as the fluorescent donor with Dnp as the quencher. Cleavage increases fluorescence, providing a convenient biochemical readout for ADAMTS-4 activity and inhibitor evaluation.
