Ac-g-Endorphin is a 17-residue synthetic peptide with the sequence Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-Thr-Ser-Glu-Lys-Ser-Gln-Thr-Pro-Leu-Val-Thr-Leu. N-terminal acetylation neutralizes the terminal alpha-amino group.
