Scrambled ZIP Control Peptide, Myristoylated

Myr-RLYRKRIWRSAGR is the scrambled-sequence control commonly used with myristoylated zeta inhibitory peptide (ZIP). It contains the same amino-acid composition and N-terminal myristoylation as ZIP but in a rearranged sequence. Published neuronal and behavioral studies have used scrambled ZIP as a comparator to distinguish sequence-dependent effects of ZIP from nonspecific effects of peptide delivery or lipid modification.
