Biotin-AKRRRLSSLRA-NH2 is a biotinylated, C-terminally amidated form of the ribosomal protein S6-derived kinase substrate. The AKRRRLSSLRA core sequence is used in assays of S6 kinases and other serine/threonine kinases, while the N-terminal biotin provides a defined affinity handle for streptavidin-based capture, immobilization, detection, or assay development.
