[Pyr11]-Beta-Amyloid (11-40)

Pyroglutamate Aβ(11-40) is an N-terminally cyclized, truncated Aβ40 species. Conversion of N-terminal glutamate to pyroglutamate removes charge and can increase proteolytic stability and alter aggregation behavior.
