[Lys3]-Bombesin

[Lys3]-Bombesin, Pyr-QKLGNQWAVGHLM-NH2, is a Lys-substituted analog of the 14-residue amphibian peptide bombesin. It differs from native bombesin by replacement of Arg3 with Lys while retaining the C-terminal QWAVGHLM-NH2 region associated with bombesin-family receptor recognition. This chemically defined analog is useful for comparative bombesin structure-activity, receptor-binding and peptide-conjugation studies.
