IL-8 Binding Inhibitory Peptide, Ac-RRWWCR-NH2

Ac-RRWWCR-NH2 is an N-acetylated, C-amidated hexapeptide developed as an inhibitor of interleukin-8 binding to human neutrophils. Published studies of related hexa- and heptapeptides showed inhibition of IL-8 binding and neutrophil activation, making this construct useful for chemokine-receptor competition and neutrophil-response research.
