Background
Human Fc gamma RIIIB/CD16b Protein is a receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Binds complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, is not capable to mediate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. May serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.
Description
Recombinant Human Fc gamma RIIIB/CD16b (NA1) Protein is expressed from Expi293 with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gly17-Ser200.
Target
Fc gamma RIIIB/CD16b (NA1)
Species
Human
Gene/Protein ID
AAA35881.1
Exact Sequence
Gly17-Ser200
Molecular Weight
The protein has a predicted MW of 22 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 48-55 kDa based on the Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity
The affinity constant of 0.117 uM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200). See testing image for detail.
Tag
C-His
Express System
Expi293
Purity
> 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE; > 95% as determined by HPLC
Endotoxin
Less than 1EU per ug by the LAL method.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as a protectant before lyophilization.
Stability and Storage

Reconstituted protein stable at -80 C for 12 months, 4 C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
Shipped at ambient temperature.
Reconstitution

Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration of more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
