HCV NS3 Protease Inhibitor 2

Ac-DE-Dif-E-Cha-C is a compact peptide-derived inhibitor of hepatitis C virus NS3 protease. The sequence incorporates the noncanonical residues difluorophenylalanine (Dif) and cyclohexylalanine (Cha), which were introduced during optimization of NS3 protease cleavage-product inhibitors to strengthen enzyme recognition and inhibitory potency. This reagent is useful as a positive inhibitor control in NS3/4A protease assays and antiviral protease-mechanism studies.
