Gastrin-1, Human (Gastrin-17)

Gastrin-17, or little gastrin, is a major bioactive gastrin hormone released from gastric G cells after food intake. Its C-terminal amidation is required for high-affinity CCK2/gastrin receptor signaling that stimulates gastric acid secretion and mucosal growth.
