FITC-LC-TAT (47-57)

FITC-LC-YGRKKRRQRRR-NH2 is a fluorescent derivative of the HIV-1 Tat(47-57) cell-penetrating peptide. A long-chain spacer separates FITC from the arginine-rich Tat sequence, providing a fluorescent reporter for uptake, localization and membrane-transport experiments while reducing direct steric contact between the dye and peptide. The construct is useful for fluorescence microscopy and quantitative cell-penetrating peptide studies.
