Dyrktide DYRK1A Substrate

Dyrktide, RRRFRPASPLRGPPK, is an optimized serine-containing peptide substrate for dual-specificity tyrosine-phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A). The sequence was developed from substrate-specificity studies defining the preferred phosphorylation motif of DYRK1A. The central serine provides the phosphoacceptor site, making Dyrktide a useful reagent for enzyme activity, kinetic and inhibitor studies involving DYRK-family kinases.
