[D-Tyr6, beta-Ala11, Phe13, Nle14]-Bombesin (6-14)

[D-Tyr6, β-Ala11, Phe13, Nle14]-Bombesin (6-14) is a synthetic bombesin analog incorporating D-tyrosine, β-alanine and norleucine substitutions within the receptor-binding C-terminal region. This modified sequence has been used as a broad bombesin-receptor ligand and in studies of bombesin receptor signaling and metabolic responses. Its nonproteinogenic residues make it chemically distinct from native bombesin and from simple Lys3-bombesin analogs.
