Clk/Sty RS-Domain Substrate Peptide, GRSRSRSRSR

GRSRSRSRSR is an arginine/serine-rich synthetic peptide substrate for the Clk/Sty family of dual-specificity kinases. Clk/Sty phosphorylates serine/arginine-rich splicing factors and participates in regulation of SR-protein phosphorylation and pre-mRNA splicing. The repeated RS motif in this peptide provides a compact sequence-defined substrate for Clk/Sty kinase activity measurements.
