Biotin-Aβ(17-40) is an N-terminally biotinylated form of the p3-region amyloid-beta fragment generated by α-secretase-pathway processing. The biotin handle enables streptavidin capture while preserving the hydrophobic Aβ17-40 sequence used in aggregation and inflammatory-response studies.
