5-FAM-P-Cha-G-Nva-HA-Dap(QXL520)-NH2 is a green internally quenched MMP substrate incorporating the noncanonical residues cyclohexylalanine (Cha) and norvaline (Nva). The FAM/QXL520 reporter pair enables sensitive fluorescence detection after proteolytic cleavage. LifeTein lists this sequence as a broad substrate for MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-7, MMP-8, MMP-12 and MMP-13.
