FAM-HSDAVFTDNYTRLRKQMAVKKYLNSILN-NH2 is a fluorescently labeled form of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP). VIP is a 28-residue amidated neuropeptide that signals through class B GPCRs, principally VPAC1 and VPAC2. The N-terminal FAM label provides a fluorescent reporter while retaining the full VIP peptide sequence, making this reagent useful for receptor-binding, cellular uptake, localization and fluorescence-based assay development.
