Use our search tool to view antibodies by clonality, application, species reactivity, conjugate, host species, and form.
LifeTein's broad portfolio includes polyclonal and monoclonal rabbit antibodies. You can search for primary antibodies that fit your research’s needs with biotin or fluorescent-labeled antibodies. Our highly cited primary, secondary, and recombinant monoclonal antibodies have you covered for your ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, or other assay needs.
Advantages of Rabbit Monoclonal Antibodies (RmAbs)
- Higher affinity: Rabbit monoclonal antibodies have 10 – 100 times higher affinity than mouse monoclonal antibodies.
- Superior specificity: Rabbit monoclonal antibodies have the improved assay sensitivity; increased assay accuracy with less false positive signals; and lower assay noise.
- Broader epitope recognition: The nonpeptidic epitope presenting in rabbits is more efficient because of the expression of all three subclasses of CD1 proteins. So the rabbit monoclonal antibodies can handle broader targets than those of the mice.
- Greater stability: Rabbit IgG has extra disulfide bonds in the variable region of the heavy chain. So the extra disulfide bonds may result in greater stability and longer shelf life of rabbit antibodies.
