HS-cR10 is a cell penetrating peptide. Using cytochrome c (Cyt c) and the green fluorescent protein (GFP) as models, Joomyung V. Jun et al. generated protein conjugates modified with diverse domains for cellular delivery that include a small molecule, targeting and cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs), and a large polysaccharide.
HS-cR10 was conjugated to Cyt c and GFP and the proteins were delivered into the cytosol of live mammalian cells.
