Histone H3 (21-44) Cit26-GGK(Biotin)

Citrullination converts the positively charged guanidinium group of arginine to neutral citrulline. In this H3 peptide, Arg26 is deiminated to Cit26. Histone H3 citrullination by PAD enzymes can antagonize arginine methylation and alter transcription-associated chromatin regulation.
