Beta-Amyloid (1-42), TAMRA-Labeled

TAMRA-Aβ(1-42) is a fluorescent form of the 42-residue amyloid-beta peptide strongly associated with amyloid aggregation and Alzheimer's disease pathology. The TAMRA reporter enables visualization of peptide distribution, uptake and aggregation-associated processes near 544/572 nm.

Aβ(1-42) is highly aggregation-prone and sample history strongly affects experimental behavior. TAMRA labeling can also influence aggregation kinetics, so compare with unlabeled Aβ under matched preparation conditions.
