Luteinizing Hormone Releasing Hormone (LH-RH) is a hypothalamic peptide that stimulates release of gonadotrophins from anterior pituitary, thus regulating reproductive functions. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), also known as Luteinizing-hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH),Progonadoliberin-1 and luliberin, is a tropic peptide hormone responsible for the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the anterior pituitary. The peptide belongs to gonadotropin-releasing hormone family.
