[Ile161]MAGE - A2 (157 - 166) is a synthetic research peptide in the MAGE tumor-antigen peptide family. MAGE-family proteins are cancer-testis antigens from which multiple HLA-restricted cytotoxic T-lymphocyte epitopes have been defined. Synthetic MAGE peptides have been used to identify tumor-reactive CTL, compare HLA-binding properties, and measure peptide-specific T-cell responses.
