In recent years several new members have been identified with important roles in the immune system. CD2 family members regulate natural killer (NK) cell lytic activity and inflammatory cytokine production when engaged by ligands on tumor cells.
Recombinant Human CD2/SRBC Protein is expressed from Expi293 with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Lys25-Asp209.
The protein has a predicted MW of 22.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-50 kDa based on the Tris-Bis PAGE result.
The affinity constant of 15.48 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200). See testing image for detail.

Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration of more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
