DTrp-Gamma MSH is a synthetic research peptide in the melanocortin / melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) family. Melanocyte-stimulating hormones are proopiomelanocortin-derived melanocortin peptides. The His-Phe-Arg-Trp pharmacophore and its surrounding residues are central to melanocortin-receptor recognition.
