[D-Ala2] Deltorphin II

[D-Ala2] Deltorphin II is a synthetic research peptide in the deltorphin / delta-opioid peptide family. Deltorphins are amphibian-derived opioid heptapeptides distinguished by high affinity and selectivity for delta-opioid receptors. Structure-activity studies have examined the unusual D-amino-acid-containing N-terminal message sequence and C-terminal residues that contribute to delta versus mu receptor selectivity.
