CD47 (Cluster of Differentiation 47) also known as integrin associated protein (IAP) is a transmembrane protein that in humans is encoded by the CD47 gene. CD47 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and partners with membrane integrins and also binds the ligands thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) and signal-regulatory protein alpha (SIRP?).CD-47 acts as a don't eat me signal to macrophages of the immune system which has made it a potential therapeutic target in some cancers.
Recombinant Cynomolgus/Rhesus macaque CD47 Protein is expressed from Expi293 with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gln19-Glu141.

The protein has a predicted MW of 15 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 45-65 kDa based on the Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Immobilized Cynomolgus/Rhesus macaque CD47, His Tag at 5ug/ml (100ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Human SIRP alpha, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 0.52ug/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 63.27 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200). See testing image for detail.

Less than 1EU per ug by the LAL method.
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as a protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstituted protein stable at -80 C for 12 months, 4 C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipped at ambient temperature.
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration of more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
