Casein Kinase II Substrate

Casein Kinase II Substrate is a synthetic research peptide in the casein kinase II (CK2) peptide substrate family. Casein kinase II/CK2 is a Ser/Thr protein kinase with a preference for acidic substrate sequences. Synthetic peptides corresponding to natural CK2 phosphorylation regions have been used for kinetic studies, affinity purification, and mapping of phosphorylation determinants.
