Product Description

Adpgk R304M Neoepitope ASMTNMELM, sequence ASMTNMELM, is a published mutation-derived peptide from ADP-dependent glucokinase (Adpgk) used in the murine MC38 colorectal carcinoma model.

MC38 Adpgk R304M Neoepitope

The MC38 model contains a reported R304M mutation in Adpgk. The resulting peptide ASMTNMELM has been used as an MHC class I-restricted neoepitope in studies of tumor-specific CD8 T-cell responses, peptide vaccination, checkpoint immunotherapy, and MHC immunopeptidomics.

Published work has used ASMTNMELM to stimulate or detect Adpgk-reactive T cells and to compare endogenous responses against different MC38 tumor antigens.

Important MC38 Cell-Line Consideration

Recent comparative studies have shown that MC38 sub-lines obtained from different sources can differ in mutation content and neoantigen expression. In particular, the Adpgk R304M mutation is not present at equivalent levels in all MC38 variants. Researchers should therefore confirm the genotype and antigen presentation characteristics of the specific MC38 line used in an experiment.

Research Applications

  • MC38 neoantigen immunology
  • CD8 T-cell stimulation
  • Peptide vaccination studies
  • T-cell assay development
  • MHC-I peptide presentation research
  • Immunopeptidomics controls
