{"id":483,"date":"2018-06-26T17:55:56","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T21:55:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lifetein.com\/blog\/?p=483"},"modified":"2024-11-16T22:01:44","modified_gmt":"2024-11-17T03:01:44","slug":"how-to-analyze-the-cell-viability-with-peptides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lifetein.com\/blog\/how-to-analyze-the-cell-viability-with-peptides\/","title":{"rendered":"How to analyze the cell viability with peptides?"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li>Cells were seeded on 96-well culture plates (10000 cells\/well) and incubated in 100 \u03bcL of DMEM containing 10% FBS.<\/li>\n<li>The medium was then replaced with fresh medium containing 10% FBS, and a peptide solution was added to each well at an appropriate concentration (for example 0.5uM, 1uM, 1.5uM, 2uM).<\/li>\n<li>After a 2-h incubation, Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) was used according to the manufacturer\u2019s protocol. Cell Counting Kit-8 allows sensitive colorimetric assays for determining cell viability in cell proliferation and cytotoxicity assays.<\/li>\n<li>Cell viability was evaluated by the absorbance of formazan from each well, and 100% cell viability was calculated from the wells without peptides.<\/li>\n<li>The results are the mean and standard deviation obtained from 5 samples.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div id=\"attachment_484\" style=\"width: 217px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-484\" class=\"size-full wp-image-484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lifetein.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/cell-viability.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"138\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-484\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">cell-viability<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cells were seeded on 96-well culture plates (10000 cells\/well) and incubated in 100 \u03bcL of DMEM containing 10% FBS.
